Tina has called Orcas Island her home sine 1998. she is a transplant from New Hampshire where her artistic creativity was enthusiastically supported throughout her schooling. Tina earned a scholarship to The George Washington University in DC where she eventually received a master of Fine arts with a focus in printmaking.
Tina's Artistic endeavors were interrupted for a few years while she pursued her rowing career. I 1992 she was honored to compete in the Barcelona, Spain Olympics, rowing bow seat in the Women's Eight. Currently she volunteers as the Head Coach for the Orcas Island Rowing Association located on Cascade Lake. She has also ventured into the sailing world and is enjoying it thoroughly!
Tina's latest works have evolved from her love of decorative papers. Using them as her "pallet" she makes accordion cards and decoupage creations. The original decoupage pieces have the detail of quilting and the texture of mosaic, creating a truly rich and dimensional work of art.
