Artist, Alexis Terry Bouchard is originally from Savannah, Georgia where she grew up above her mothers James Beard award winning restaurant, Elizabeth on 37th. Her youth was surrounded by inner coastal waterways, fine dining, abstract art, travel and lush gardens. She has been an active artist and painter for the past 25 years receiving her MFA in painting from, The Savannah College of Art and Design in 2004. She has been an Arts educator for children and the differently abled community, crediting both to her development as a visual artist.
Alexis moved to Orcas Island in 2017 with her family from Portland, Oregon. In 2021 she launched her business, Flower Moon Floral, a garden studio where she creates and grows flowers for original artwork and floral design. Orcas Island provides constant inspiration and allows a deep connection to the natural world.
